DoI Promotes Vanuatu Made brand in Sports platform

The Department of Industry (DoI) yesterday donated a set of Vanuatu made product uniform to the Port Vila Football Association (PVFA) 2018-2019 season club champion Galaxy FC at the PVFA conference room.

It comes as DoI recently signed an agreement with PVFA to promote, expose but more importantly protect the Vanuatu Made brand.

PVFA Vice President, Harry Atisson confirmed that the set of uniform was specifically for the Oceania League Championship (O-League) last year where Galaxy FC and Malampa Revivors FC both qualifying into the quarterfinal stage however was postponed by the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) and FIFA in regards to the COVID19 pandemic outbreak.

The Director of DoI, Jimmy Rantes stated that the donation provided today is under marketing, specifically in the Vanuatu Made communications in which the government provided funding support to the DoI.

“Once Galaxy FC will be playing with the uniforms, it will also fly the DoI and Vanuatu Made flag in promoting the brand in country and to the communities. We believe the donation is in a timely manner as well,” said Mr Nantes.

A Galaxy FC executive and management representative conveyed the executive’s appreciation and acknowledgement to the DoI for the kind donation and contribution.

He said that it is a step forward for future partnership but foremost promoting the Vanuatu Made brand.

PVFA further acknowledged the DoI for their contribution and assistance into PVFA clubs as well. PVFA further stated that promoting our local products is a way forward for our country.
